Should Hospitals have the right to turn away Covid patients from those who have chosen to be unvaccinated?

Why should someone who makes the decision to not be vaccinated take a bed and be treated from someone who has taken precautions and had a breakthrough case?
Shouldn't the unvaccinated just stay home and deal with this virus on their own?

Well the vaxxed won't end up in the hospital anyways since they are saved by their Lord and savior Vaccine Christ!
@CestManan Lol. It is only right wing evangelical anti vaxxer that think magic will protect them from a virus.

I think you are projecting.

@CestManan That is actually a key point in this argument. Hospitals in this case will be mostly full of stupid people,.😷
pdockal · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman why do you need to disparage people ?????
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@pdockal Good Question.. Maybe it is my reaction to lockdown Fatigue. Six Lockdowns and counting, totalling over six months and each time caused by some moron breaking the rules because they didnt believe in them. After a while it does get you down.😷

@CestManan you really do hate facts when they don't agree with your thoughts about what you want to be right.

@CestManan I often say to myself, why bother trying to counter the nonsense here. Then I say that every new infection offers the virus the chance to further mutate, thus endangering the rest of the population. Yes, the "experts" were premature in announcing that you could probably return to pre-covid activities, and should have said that vaccination alone would not end the pandemic, that caution about congregating and wearing masks for the near future was still essential.

@samueltyler2 i agree that they opened things up to fast. I also didn't think they thought this many people would ve willing to die for Donnie dumb ass trump and not get vaccinated for their own good and the good of the country.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@fddlpej Got your mask on?
fddlpej · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 yes I actually have kept my mask on because I thought it was too early to take them off. I think I was right.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@fddlpej Especially since they don't work?
fddlpej · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 they work to some extent not as well with the new variant the delta but they help especially if you have a child who can't take the vaccine yet.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@fddlpej Check out Hawaii and Oregon's latest hospitalization figures
fddlpej · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 40percent of the country's new infections come from 2 states Florida and Texas. Hell the Texas governor has it after receiving 3 doses of the vaccine. Maybe he should have worn a mask as well.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@fddlpej LOL, didn't look, eh?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
fddlpej · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 not yet but 2 states are responsible for more than Hawaii. Hell it was probably started again in Hawaii by people flying in from Florida and Texas. They shouldn't let the unvaccinated fly on planes.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 And who is clogging up Oregon’s hospitals, hmm?

sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Looks like masks don't work, eh?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Nobody promised you a panacea sporty, but as it happens the unvaccinated aren’t exactly the most mask-wearing segment either.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Gee, the shots don't work either! Oh woe is us
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Poor sporty, you just can’t seem to get there.

I hope not. I've had enough of hospitals this year. @CestManan
