But it was Americas need to cut Japan off from its raw materials that Started that war. And the fact is that Macarthur was happy to allow Australia to be invaded as part of his plan, which the Australians buggered up for him by stopping the Japanese in New Guinea. As long as the Japanese were only bombing and killing Chinese peasants America didnt give a rats @$$ (apart from the Flying Tigers) because there was no rubber involved. America set up a shipping blockade. Nothing more. And Japan obliged by sinking a bunch of old battleships set up as targets. Then Hilter did Britain a favour by declaring war on America.

I’d be happy just to see him locked up for colluding with Russia and for using the presidency to pressure Ukraine’s president to announce a phony investigation into the Bidens, not to mention his violations of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution for playing golf so damn frequently on his own course, which means funneling millions of taxpayer dollars back to himself.

@JP1119 h3 didn't collude with Russia. That's a lie and has been debunked already. Stop watching fake news. If yoi hate Trump, fine, but do yoir research instead of just blindly believing everything the news tells you to believe. Actually do some research. The only colluding Russia did was with bots on Facebook, and that wasn't really even a huge issue.

My greatest dream these days is that Trump get back on TV - as a sole inhabitant on a remote island with limited resources. Shelter, food and safety are left up to him and him alone out in the elements. I'd watch every second of that, rent it to watch again and then buy the DVD.

But explain to me how CA with 31 million more people than VA paid about the same amount of federal taxes? WOW how is that possible. Would you like to compare NY. 😂🤣
Now than this chart obviously all these amounts combined is chicken feed compared to actual total costs of federal spending at 4.1 Trillion and also state spending especially California which was 160 billion. I think seeing the country turn on him in November is punishment enough. Trump is by far the worst President the US has ever had, and I don't think it's even close, but you have to consider the long-term consequences of seeking out punitive justice.
Punishing a sitting President would set a dangerous precedent that future generations would use to vilify and undermine future Presidents anytime something bad happens on their watch. We're already at a point where the GOP went apeshit after 4 people died in Benghazi or after Ebola made its way to American soil. It exacerbates the divisions that already exist and pushes people to seek vengeance instead of solutions.
We lose too much of our humanity and sacrifice progress by continually looking backward. Punishing someone doesn't make the problem go away. We have to be able to look forward and to find a way to repair the mess he made, not clinging to moral victories from revenge and retribution

@VeronicaPrincess Very few people seem to think about that aspect of the job. It would be rough. It's not as much of a glamorous position as media makes it out to be. If you care about doing it right, it would be horribly stressful.

@JT123 Investigations that result in prison sentences are no hoaxes. Impeachments that result in findings of guilt but not prosecutable guilt are not scams. Remember how Trump is the president and in charge of the Covid-19 response, not the House?
