But, given that of the known cases, the world average is 6% deaths of total known cases and some countries, in Europe especially, are showing death rates much higher - some over 13% - I will say he is handling it clumsily, but all in all, better than many.

If we compare Canada and USA it's clear that Trudeau is much more concerned, consistent, and stately in his press appearances than his southern counterpart. And Canada is producing far better results too- despite American backstabbing. Trudeau sends nurses to help the American people. And Trump says thanks by stealing the masks Canada has ordered and paid for.

@MarmeeMarch I was doing CFR which goes by capita. I'd have to redo it for the whole population because, obviously, that varies a whole lot by country.

He has been hiding in his Prime Ministerial Retreat and pops out like the fake bird in a cuckoo clock for a few minutes to cuckoo nonsense once a day. Trump. Look at the numbers. 1/3 of the world's cases are in the United States. 9 times the number of cases as China. Death toll is 10 times the number of deaths in China. And that's given the fact that we had weeks in advance to prepare. As Trump said, "There were 0 coronavirus cases in the United States." Yes, ZERO, and we knew it was coming. Trump failed. Congress failed. CDC failed. Department of Public Health failed.

@LukeTheDuke They do though i read in the wind that their time will come. The Iraq War was popular at the time and the only dissention came from the left. Controversial views then arw now accepted as common sense. It will take time but this will be massively damaging to the Tories.
