@pride49 Well, yes, we were debating politics, but I pride myself on always being polite. I really dislike abusive language, because I escaped from an abusive marriage, and I know what it's like to be on the receiving end so well that I can't tolerate it anymore...hence the blocks.

But you are correct in your implication that politics is a hot topic, and some people...(not all)...aren't bright enough to win every argument, and must resort to bad language and insults.

@pride49 That's not politics, that's tabloid shit. It has very little effect on our lives. Actual policy substance does.

Hence why you've argued at length with me that it's perfectly alright to deplatform those who support Palestinian rights, or publicly condemn the genocide in Yemen. It's why you defending Gianforte when he punched Ben Jacobs for asking him a tough question, or why you told me that anti-BDS laws which assign legal punishments for boycotting the Israeli government is ok.

@pride49 Foreign policy is a good example. You know how many family members are dead now because the political decision to support the genocide in Yemen? What, I'm supposed to not care about that?

I don't remember talking to you at all for a very long time. I have always felt a great deal of sympathy for you, ever since you told me that you were wounded during the Saudi bombing of Iran, and lost your eye and I believe you may have wounded your leg.

You've had a dreadful childhood, and I feel for you very deeply.
