propably.. the system is rigged enough... and i fully expect him to start a war in 2020. because its unpatriotic then to vote agaisnt your president in a war
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@RedWidow Where did that idea ever come from, that it's unpatriotic to oppose of a war that your country is currently fighting. I never understood that. Like, if another nation has attacked you, then I get it. But we're currently at war with eight separate countries that never attacked us. To me the patriotic thing to do would be to NOT support the war because then in turn you're supporting the lives of your own troops to not be wasted in a conflict that shouldn't be happening.

BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
Well, honestly, I don't know. I feel that it's heavily dependent on what legal action is taken, or not taken for that matter, against him while he's still a sitting president. Because if his situation gets particularly messy between now and the next election cycle, he might choose to not even run for a second term. If he does run, I'm fairly certain he'll win the republican nomination. I don't really see any other republicans who would be running that could challenge him. So it would all come down to who his opponent is. If it's Clinton again, or some other similar corporate democratic retard like Joe Manchin or Diane Feinstein or whatever, then I'd say he has a decent chance. If it's someone like Sanders or Ojeda, then Trump would have a much harder time winning, or at least if you judge by popularity percentages and issues polled upon.

@BlueMetalChick I am convinced that Mueller plans to hold out all of his nasty surprises until right before the 2020 election, and spring them at the worst possible time for Trump.
If so, moving to Canada
@romell Thats basically what I'm doing, backhouse :D
@romell Tiny homes & sheds as backhouses :D
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Dang. I'm still waiting for all those people who promised to go to Canada when he was elected the first time! They are ALL still here! I got a bad case of blue balls from the anticipation. BIG let down.
Fingers crossed.

No, not really, but I think it's still too early to make an educated guess about that.

@Zoeoz Yeah, I think so too.

By SW standards he will lose - in reality he will win. But of course we dont know who will be running as the Dem.
Sithlizard · 51-55, M
No, I doubt he will win.

No. I think Paul Ryan should run on the republican ticket.
Lostpoet · M
@Overwatch6 I don't think so. 🤷‍♂️

Pretty certain he will. In any case, most politicians are corrupt. Some spend millions campaigning for a position that pays around 100k. That should tell you something.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@xRedx The job itself may only pay 100K but campaign contributions and donations through the "money is speech" condition turn out to be extremely lucrative. Look at Trump right now. He was going to take punitive action against ZTE for violating US sanctions with Iran, but then the Chinese president gave half a billion dollars to a Trump-licensed hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia and he mysteriously dropped all charges. So that's five hundred million dollars made just by not prosecuting a telecom giant.
xRedx · M
@BlueMetalChick Trump is a businessman, he really doesn't need any contributions. Although he had previously declared bankruptcy. If you don't think there's any corruption going, you're wrong. Left and right, it's happening.

how does it make a difference..does any politician do good for the common people
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@romell Well, yes, but not nearly enough. And some are worse than others.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
It wouldn't surprise me. Bush won a second term even though he messed it up badly in the first.

Yes unfortunately 😢
TheProphet · M
@SimplyTracie Not sure enough people want that change.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@TheProphet Precisely. People in power want to stay in power. There’s no incentive to make changes.
TheProphet · M
@SimplyTracie That's true.

The problem is his narcissistic personality, one could say on paper and short term some of his policies seems OK. On long term he will ruin it as you can't have tax cuts and weak dollar at the same time. I don't think he can understand that being a president it's not the same as running business of his own. The problem was that Clinton was hopeless. It does not help to vote with your wallet in 2020 , also Republicans will think twice before they endorse him for 2020.

Depends on if you still have a functioning democracy then...I think the jury is still out
This is the last 4 years the US will have a president. Two years left.

Yes he will.

Honestly, there are too many things it depends on. He's a demented semi-literate maniac and so predicting the future with him is impossible.
