@xRedx The job itself may only pay 100K but campaign contributions and donations through the "money is speech" condition turn out to be extremely lucrative. Look at Trump right now. He was going to take punitive action against ZTE for violating US sanctions with Iran, but then the Chinese president gave half a billion dollars to a Trump-licensed hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia and he mysteriously dropped all charges. So that's five hundred million dollars made just by not prosecuting a telecom giant.

@BlueMetalChick Trump is a businessman, he really doesn't need any contributions. Although he had previously declared bankruptcy. If you don't think there's any corruption going, you're wrong. Left and right, it's happening.
