I Have Had Sleep Paralysis

Because of this I can never go back to sleep when I wake up too early, coz it almost always happen when I go back to sleep and I've always been waking up too early these days I'm so sleepy 😣

SP should be easy to get rid of. Don't fight it. Just stay relaxed and gently try to wiggle your toes or fingers, and that should break you out of it.

Alternatively, you could use the SP to enter a dream while conscious, and have a really powerful Wake Initiated Lucid Dream. I'm kinda jealous, really, because those are the most vivid. You should make use of that. Lucid dreams are powerful things.

Well I'll try to ask them next time, but might be difficult since I can't even make a sound...@Tatsumi

@Katherine1994 Just the intention is all you need. Just in your mind. ^^ Remember, that figure is part of your mind, as well. You don't need to use your voice.
Katherine1994 · 26-30, F
@Tatsumi wow right it is part of my mind... thanks for reminding me that 😊Im not so afraid of it anymore I'll try it if it happens again
That sounds pretty terrifying, do you literally just get stuck awake, unable to move?
@Katherine1994 I try 😉

Doesn't not going back to sleep lead to more exhaustion though?
Katherine1994 · 26-30, F
@Jimmyorjames well yeah I guess but it always happens when I go back to sleep 😞
@Katherine1994 I think you need someone there to help keep you awake when you need or comfortable when the paralysis kicks in 😉

Do you still hallucinate bad things when you have people with You?

I have had it happen about six times in my life, and it's usually when I sleep on a mattress that's really soft. It's a terrifying feeling though being awake and unable to move and your heart is racing.
Katherine1994 · 26-30, F
@SW-User @SW-User well I've had it worse I once saw a claw scratching my bed right next to my ear and couldn't move...
SW-User
@Katherine1994 wow that sounds terrifying. I stopped mine by sleeping on a really firm mattress, i don't know if that really fixed it or if it was just a coincidence but worth trying.

I get it a lot. I think it happens a lot when people are really tired to the point of exhaustion.
Katherine1994 · 26-30, F
@JennyGa yeah or really stressed.. I had 3 episodes in one day once
JennyGa · 46-50, F
@Katherine1994 I hate it.
Katherine1994 · 26-30, F
@JennyGa me too😣
JohnRing · 56-60, M
It has only happened to me when I was in periods where my sleep patterns were off like sleeping 5-6 hours a night M-F and then sleeping way too long Saturday and Sunday.

I used to get them all the time. Fighting to move my arms or legs or trying to shout out. They have completely disappeared. I think they were caused by anxiety. I’m more relaxed now xx

What happens with sleep paralysis?
SW-User
@DownTheStreet You wake up but you are totally unable to move any part of your body for what seems like ages but it's probably just maybe a minute.
Coolkid77 · 31-35, M
Damn, that sucks.
