This is my fav mug because I love Wyoming and moose are the animals I look for in the mountains because they are so hard to find and very unusual looking!
@Blondily A long time. I started donating in college. I stopped a couple of years ago, but started again last month. I'm due to donate again on Halloween.
I always attend an annual art fair we have here that showcases local artists. I have a small collection of mugs from this particular artist whose whimsical work I just love.
I love these tiny little coffee cups, I have a whole cabinet full of the exact same ones from late 1950s.
I got the whole set for cheap with matching plates, bowls and the rest for FREE
Person we bought the farm from. They were moving into assistanted living for the elderly. They said "If you like them you have them. That's one less thing we have to pack up and move.
Nice choice !! My favorite mug is an old one that used to be my grandfather's. A heavy, old, plain white porcelain coffee mug he used for at least his last ~15 years in his own home.
Mine is simple, and nondescript. But the plain exterior belies its worth among my collection.
It makes a perfect cup of coffee or tea, effortlessly - every time. And has warmed my hands on cold winter nights stargazing, watching a cosmic light show made to order. Or during hours spent in the glow of a fire, in utter peace & tranquility; when all is sublime.
Its contents warm the body. Its memories, stir the soul.
I have a mug like that with a white-tailed deer on it. And it says big Kev. That's one of my favorites the other one I like is my unit mug from the Marine corps for obvious reasons. And my third favorite mug is my giant size bubba bucket that I bought at Walmart great for drinking loads of beer and it has a built-in bottle opener every dude should have one
@Blondily yeah you can get them at Walmart for like nine bucks. Or on eBay they even come in camo and orange as well as light purple and blue they're awesome
I have different favorites for different types of drinks. For milk or juice, I like my glass cups because I only drink a small amount. For hot chocolate, I like my wintery mugs because hot chocolate reminds me of winter and Christmas. For water, I like my big and tall cups because I need to drink a lot of water and I don't like to keep refilling it.
@Blondily🤔i have two actually a pint mug for my tea with the football team i follow liverpool and a pint glass i got for my sixtieth birthday last year for beer in the house
@Blondily I wrongly assumed mine was replaceable since it came from a radio station and let my hb talk me into throwing it away instead of attempting to kintsugi it. Only after it was gone with the trash did I log on their website and saw they no longer made that merchandise. Hb has vowed he'll find one for me, but I'm not holding my breath. Just need to find a new favorite mug. Lol and maybe a new cat 😉
@Starcrossed I hope he finds it for you. Its too bad they dont keep certain items in stock. I hope you find another mug you love! While on vacation my hub and I were determined to get some grocery bags from a vacation spot we like. It was colorful with goofy looking animals that arent sold in my state. We looked online but they didn't sell them online. So we went back this past weekend searching for grocery bags and bought other ones we liked. Yet the last store we looked in had a ton of the grocery bags we wanted so we bought 10!😃
