Last night I was worried given her age and health issues. But we found her today and I spent some time with her. We took her to the vet near our house this afternoon to have her put down, because she was bad enough that it was the humane thing to do. When we went to the vet, they put us in a side room where we all sat and talked to her in the carry box, and she was meowing. Then they called us through to the vet's exam room, and by the time we put the box on the table she was gone.
She lived a good long life with you, and I'm sure she always felt loved. It's hard to deal with them being gone, but she will always be with you in some way. 💙
My condolences, mate. You gave her a long and happy life. I know that doesn't make what you're facing easier, but have solace in the fact that you did your best for her.
