My daughter's cat, Yoshi.....but funny how it feels always, like "my cat" whenever she stayed with me. But he finally went with her, when she began staying at her mom's full time.
P.s. if you notice that bit of peeling under the window there... oah yeah... that was him. That place had that cheap veneered molding that peeled up over time.
I've had both dogs and cats. I love both. Dogs have owners, but cats have servants..LOL 😄. All the cats I've had, have loved me, there's no doubt.... however, I've noticed the degree of love is most times dependant on the quality and quantity and immediacy of the service they receive!... Moods also play into their love at any given moment. I know I'm always a servant first and a loved one second...LOL 🤣😄
My cat, adopted at age two and who lived with me for the next fourteen years, was indeed a dear friend. When I played the piano, she’d stop whatever she was doing and come sit near me to listen. She’d remain for as long as I would play. However, if I began to sing along, she’d smack me with her paw, indicating that even her devotion had limits. 😊
No, my wife is my best friend. I do have a dog that follows me everywhere and a Maine Coon that follows me quite a bit. The second Maine Coon is too much of a spaz to be anyone’s best friend.
I don’t have a cat, I have a dog. I regularly have funny moments with the neighbours cat and we regularly stare at each other through my window. This is him protecting my house
@oldsoulcharm That is sweet. I read once that dog owners crave affection and cat owners want to give affection. Although both of mine are affectionate in their own way, with nuzzles
My landlord at my country cottage is an old Tom. He misses no opportunity to remind me that I am squatting on his territory and, therefore, owe him tribute - his preference is roast chicken with a touch of garlic.
