Does your cat also have to lick your hands nonstop?

Artemis is the first cat Ive had that has to be licking me nonstop.

Yes, and then bites if you try to move away. More like a tiger than cat. FYI they do that to create social bonds amongst their peers and with us. It is a respect thing.

@Captainjackass The way you teach a cat not to bite hard is, every time they do bite a little too hard, you completely ignore them. Trust me on this. They hate it.

Hairy doesn't lick. Layla does, but only if I've got mustard on my hand.

Something adorable that Hairy does, though, is if I decide I'm done petting him, and he's not done, he'll grab my hand with his paw.

@LordShadowfire my cats do that too. They push their paws down on my hand when I stop scratching them.
