@KingofBones1 I am drawn to them as well. My grandparents had one when I was a young boy and memories of him have stuck with me. I've always had Shepherds as an adult. The one pictured is probably #7. Often I'd have two at the same time so they could pal around together. They've all been exceptional companions and always shed a tear when they part.

When I found her at the shelter, she growled at me. For hours. With a very nervous shelter worker, (please don’t get your face so CLOSE!) we met in a tiny ‘introduction room’ and within half an hour she was on my lap eating the chicken breast I brought - still growling. She growled the 50 miles home and followed me into the house - still growling. I l let her go explore and when she finally came back, she cocked her head and gazed at me. Then she decided, jumped onto my lap (oof!) and snuggled in.

@skmokisses They are my soul breed. I had them as a kid and I saved a little at a time to pay 700 bucks for my first one as an adult. My latest one is a Helene Dog, and although I didnt pay cash for him, I have his papers and his orinal owner paid over 6k for him. I just could never justify paying that much for a dog. I love him so much but my Barry was my once in a lifetime dog. Im still mourning that loss.

@Matt85 Cute and loveable and sweet dogs, they get bad names because of bad owners making bad dogs. Loyal, loving, and devotedly loyal protectors. I love when I walk around my pond with Clous and a fish jumps by the shoreline or shoots off from the bank rippling the water and he has to come over and bark at the spot to warn the fish not to hurt me. When fishing the pond while landing the fish, I have to make sure I keep Clous away from chomping the fish that is just trying to get away, but Clous feels it is somehow aggressing me. LOL.

He loves to stand and let off one loud bark and watch the deer run off too. keeping me safe he is. LOL

@skmokisses He is, and he loves to find his place laying on the couch so I can come and sit beside where he places his head, lift it up and to sit down to pet him the more I scratch and pet the more he climbs into my lap becoming a 120-pound blanket. Not a bad wintertime blanket to have either. Also, when he is laying on my lap like that it is harder for me to escape his Lovins/ LOL

@Straylight You can tell him yourself...he's up in Rainbow Park where all dogs go after leaving this life....I had to put him down 4 years ago....one of the worst days of my life...I tell him that everyday that I miss and love him....He was 15 years old which is about twice the age of most English bullies...I love animals!!!Much more than most humans!!!

@Nevertooold He was precious!! I am sorry you lost him a few years ago. I had a solid white English as well (cause we are UGA fans). She lived 14 years. Losing her in 2013 was one of the hardest I think I have ever had to deal with.
