Sure. People cry out of happiness too.

I almost did. We dated almost 8 years, but when she walked down the aisle on her father's arm, I could not believe that beautiful lady was mine. I was totally choked up.

Sure, but at my first wedding, I tried to so hard to stop laughing – because of the vicar’s singing – that I hoped people would think I was crying because my shoulders were shaking. It took tremendous effort not to bend over and burst out laughing.

I cried tears of happiness and joy. The better question is is there any person who DOESN'T cry at his/her or a loved one's wedding?

My brothers wife did at hers. My Brother may have done if he wasn't trying to keep his already plastered best man from falling over.
