Is 'hello out there' offensive? I responded this way to a dm I got. He called me patronizing...

Haha, that is funny. He was probably a creep who expected to be blocked so he acted first.

It could be patronizing and offensive if you wrote first to a friend who has been distant, but in response I can't see how. Some have their angry response already lined up that has nothing to do with you.
