Just appease them @OogieBoogie and say Minnesota, it's practically Canada.

Arizona. I could live a few places, but I really want AZ to work.

@AlchemyFox I have family out that way ...I fell in love with Jermone and Sedona ...
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@SW-User Sedona is unreal. And it's all so vast, you could explore forever. So rich in natural and native history. Uuuggghhhh 😂
SW-User
@AlchemyFox It's just so cool ...it's amazing how you just have to drive 3 hours from the desert to the mountains and it's completely different landscape and a lot colder too ...love it !

Washington state, love the trees. I want to live in a cabin deep in the woods, isolated from everything.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@Neman1622 Then why live there if it's too isolated. I'm sorry, just a bit comfused.
Neman1622 · 41-45, M
@Longpatrol I thought it would be good for me. I was wrong. Looking for new employment right now to relocate
Neman1622 · 41-45, M
@Longpatrol everybody I know says they envy my position. Well, if you've never lived this isolated, don't think you envy anything. It's a ton of work to live out here.

My home state of Mississippi, you can take the girl out of Mississippi but you can't take Mississippi out of the girl.

@caPnAhab so hot. I can't imagine adjusting to that!
@Notsimilarreally didn’t answer the question

@mysteryespresso Me? I did answer. It's a bad thing if you go north, where it's cold
Ontheroad · M
Washington, Oregon, or Northern California.
Ontheroad · M
@Notsimilarreally I don't know why, but we never got to Tomales, or not that I remember. Most of my family was in the Santa Rosa, Yuba City area, and few were strung out in wide spots in the road up and around Tahoe Nat'l Forest.
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Ontheroad how longs it been since you've been?
Florida, Texas if I were to be there, ever in real life. I made a few friends online from there. We spent days, nights and hours together
Sojournersoul · M
Love living in Georgia.
Sojournersoul · M
@Notsimilarreally I live north in the Mountains so not as bad as down south by Flordia.
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Sojournersoul alright alright! Nice. Not on the coast. I know someone from Foley al and he always called it tropical weather
Sojournersoul · M
@Notsimilarreally Not on the coast at all. It can get hot and humid but not like the coast.

Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@Nitedoc southern MO was quite pretty. I think I dipped into AK on a trip but not for long.
sladejr · 56-60, M
Carolinas or Georgia. I'd say Texas if the landscape wasn't so dull

@MarineBob I liked living there. I like how it's in the middle of the country for some reason. And it's so green, it's laid back.

@BlueGreenGrey I apologize. I have no interest in debating. I live in hurricane Alley in Florida. Having a generator is just a must here.
Which one (or even a specific part of one) do you think you fit in best, and why?
What are all of the factors that important?
What are all of the factors that important?
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@BlueGreenGrey hard to say. I'm open minded. But I do enjoy being somewhat outdoorsy, spending summer at a river.or lake. Wouldn't want to be in a large city or suburb again, wasn't happy there. Maybe a mountainous small town is kind of my dream. I was thinking about moving to whitefish Montana or Jackson Wyoming before I ended up leaving the states.
@Notsimilarreally oh wow, you're an expat now ... I daydream about that sometimes
which country / region / province did you land in, if you don't mind sharing?
what made you leave the US?
for me a natural lake (not a dammed reservoir interfering with wildlife) would be a decent substitute for being by the coast, and ideally that seashore or lakeshore would be be next to mountains, as I love both landscapes, but would probably opt for the coast if forced to choose between mountains and the ocean
I like snow in small doses but I'm not sure how I would fare with it for weeks or months at a time
I love places like this where both meet, and this particular place is a rural spot in the middle of nowhere, I had the beach to myself

Vermont or Maine. Oregon if I found myself out west again. NY is just home though. The roots call me despite all the BS this state shovels at a person.
Notsimilarreally · 31-35, F
@MethDozer I really wanna see Maine. Lots of wild forest eh
