Where in the US do you think you fit in the best overall?

@Ontheroad ah, I'm originally from Sonoma county California. And I lived in Florence Oregon for a bit. Florence was so quiet and nice. Cali, so busy.

@Notsimilarreally Well that's a coincidence... I was born in Santa Rosa. I've gone back a couple of times to visit my cousins who still live there, but it has changed so much I'd not want to live there. I'd only want to live north of Healdsburg, or maybe on the coast around Bodega Bay and north.

I've not lived in Oregon, but I lived in Washington in Chehalis, Tacoma, and Seattle. I loved all of them and have many times thought of moving up in that region.

@Ontheroad oh hey, that is a coincidence. I was born in Petaluma but have both lived and worked in Santa Rosa. Know it very well. Bodega is gorgeous but I spent way more time in tomales. Lots of family that way in west Marin.

Different world up past Healdsburg yes!

Only went to Washington as a kid but hear lovely things and it's just gorgeous, most of it.

@Notsimilarreally I don't know why, but we never got to Tomales, or not that I remember. Most of my family was in the Santa Rosa, Yuba City area, and few were strung out in wide spots in the road up and around Tahoe Nat'l Forest.
