Is there something commonly said on SW that really gets on your nerves?

Same expressions, same faces. Like they haven't moved from the last one, stuck in that position.

I could write a book.
The accusations and bad mouthing sickens me.

I've fallen prey to allegations similar to what you're speaking of and it irks me when people do that. I permanently deleted my first account because I ultimately planned on staying away. I did for 6 months and returned with this one. To this day, people still spread gossip and lies that I was trying to hide or pretend to be someone else. My personality can't be guised and I told everyone. Then they throw in the fact that I change names and pfp's as if it matters. I just get bored, but I tend to over share a lot of personal details so I'm apparently not doing a good job at hiding.😏 Like you said, people do actually come back, and these people are so ridiculous I tend to laugh about it and other rumors that have been spread.🤭

Eh I can block people for the serious offences. The one gripe I have is probably commonly shared. The "I'm leaving" posts. Especially the ones blaming the site for being boring. Just leave! If we're that boring why are you informing us??

People in this place have a penchant for throwing random accusations...guess that's what brings excitement ro their lives...oh what fulfilling lives they must be leading...

I agree very much and I'm being serious. Everyone who takes the trouble to contribute deserves to be taken at face value. If they take the opposite view a minute later that's their right. If they are writing a fantasy they are still expressing something about themselves.

I used to get annoyed with the whole sw crush thing. The questions about that

"so and so blocked me"
but I can't say it makes me cringe - just a little "wah wah"

I really hate that. You can do as you please. No one here should get their nose in others business. I was accused of having like 100 active accounts when all I did was delete my account when I got harassed. I would come back when I felt better. Why would I need a million accounts? IRONICALLY, my bullies brag about spying on me with their ALT accounts! Hypocrites !

Nothing specific. When a touch of that is felt due to posts deliberately instigating drama or political posts with too passionately conveyed opinions, I just X the page out. There’s too many annoyances outside of here to give a place like this the power to try to add to them.

I only dislike when other people insert themselves into a conversation and try to interpret what you said. If the person I am conversing with has a question, let them ask.

That being said, I handle the annoyances by simply not being here that much over the past several years. Small doses works best for with no alt account.

I hate the posts where people pick on other users. I have made comments on posts like this and I am not proud of that. I feel terrible that I have taken part in a few and it doesn’t matter what these members have done, j shouldn’t have.

I don’t like them though. I have been trashed on posts like these and it’s not a nice feeling.

I tried to mute the groups on religion (all of them). I don’t seek them out, and wish that some theists would stay out the "atheist” groups looking to pick fights about issues that will never be resolved.

It bugs me when people post adult content without marking the posts "adult" so they don’t end up in the feeds of minors (who are here) or even those with settings on "non-adult". It’s inconsiderate, to say the least.
