Is there something commonly said on SW that really gets on your nerves?

What is it?

When people say 'they'll be back on another account or back tomorrow or even spread unsubstantiated rumours that someone is hiding in another account - no bich, not everyone is playing those games. Some people genuinely leave, even if they come back months/years later.

I've fallen prey to allegations similar to what you're speaking of and it irks me when people do that. I permanently deleted my first account because I ultimately planned on staying away. I did for 6 months and returned with this one. To this day, people still spread gossip and lies that I was trying to hide or pretend to be someone else. My personality can't be guised and I told everyone. Then they throw in the fact that I change names and pfp's as if it matters. I just get bored, but I tend to over share a lot of personal details so I'm apparently not doing a good job at hiding.😏 Like you said, people do actually come back, and these people are so ridiculous I tend to laugh about it and other rumors that have been spread.🤭

@MoonlightLullaby It's almost like people want drama so they spread whatever pops in their head without substantiating anything, then get all triggered and inflamed about it. Sorry it happened to you. I know how awful it can be when people gang up on you here.

@SW-User I read your experience (s) in the comments and my heart went out to you. I've been called everything under the sun since being here, even a catfish for not openly telling everyone about a particular disability. It's quite pathetic. Sorry you've been put through the ringer with this behavior. If anything, it's made me stronger as I hope it's done with you.💕

@SW-User Thank you. As @SW-User and I both agree, I'm grateful for all the stones that were thrown at me now. It's hard to explain, but each one made me a more compassionate person. I The last person to spread rumors actually brought me my best friend. I won't expand on the subject but she didn't appreciate it too much.

I'd be a hypocrite to say I haven't inadvertently hurt anyone. I think most of us here would be lying if we said differently.

@MoonlightLullaby That's a smart thinking process. It means you can learn. So many seem stuck and can't be open to it enough to progress.

I use every negative experience to create a positive one, and I refuse to be stagnant.

As for the latter response, I'm pretty honest to a fault. Not only with others but with myself. I have no problems announcing/owning my wrongs. I think that's pretty pertinent in life and especially social media where people tend to twist your words and never allow you to live anything down. It's pretty toxic that way.
