@Thinkerbell can you imagine what she could charge a Nazi oozing with seized gold.
She could also be the perfect honeytrap to get them!

A swastika is also a chinese good luck symbol. Could it possibly be that?
Arnoldjrmmer · 56-60, M
The US 45th infantry division used a yellow swastika on a red diamond background as their unit patch. They were originally a guard unit from New Mexico and used native symbology.
When the 1930s came round, they changed to the Thunderbird since some Germans were giving the symbol a bad name.

A swastika symbol in anything besides Nazism is supposed to be positive.
Are they Indian or native American or something?

We're there dots in each quadrant? If so, it's a Hindu/Sanskrit symbol for the Universe

@Thrust and if the lines are more natural, cwith the extremities shorter than the central lines, with knobs on the ends, it's Basque

The swastika (or manji as it's called in Japanese 卍 or wàn in Chinese) was originally a buddhist symbol.
That was long before it was reversed and used as a symbol of the Third Reich.

Are they practicing Buddhists? That’s a common symbol in the religion.

It depends on which way the swastika is facing. It's a very spiritual image all over the world but Hitler faced it the other way.
Anniedlr · 26-30, F
The Swastika has been a religious symbol for several religions for centuries and was only corrupted by Hitler and the NAZI Party in the 1930’s and 40’s☹
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Are they East Indian? The swastika is considered a good luck symbol in many parts of the world.
Thrust · 56-60, M
@hippyjoe1955 Chinamen
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Thrust Yes I think it is a good luck symbol in China as well. I know it is quite common in India so that was the reason for my question.
nonsensiclesnail · F
Isn't that a symbol of good luck in India?
Thrust · 56-60, M
@nonsensiclesnail it is - if standing vertically. The Nazis had it tilted at a 45 degree angle with a circle around it
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Thrust you sure seem to know a lot about the nazi version and meaning of the swastika. Do you think your tailor is a nazi?
looking4thesun · M
He was probably just celebrating the election
