This man is beyond a joke

My ex begged me to let him have the kids for a full week this week after being a one weekend a month dad for years. Well, one weekend a month he has our 2 sons. He rarely has our daughter because she screams and cries about not wanting to go with him.

I agreed and he told the kids all these exciting things they would do so even our daughter wanted to go for once.

Shock! It took him 10 hours to return our 6 year old daughter.

32 hours to return our 9 year old son.

3 hours after returning our 9 year old, he text me to say our 11 year old son was crying because he wanted to come home. But he said he couldn’t be bothered to drive him to me so my 20 year old went and picked him up.

Successful “week” with dad!!!!!

@Mamapolo2016 I know! My 6 year old has had almost no relationship with him for years because he had no interest in her as a toddler (he “doesn’t understand little girls”). She was excited for a fun week with him 😔 He dropped her off at 10:30pm in a pyjama top she outgrew 3 years ago that was soaking wet with her tears and snot. I asked if she had slept at all and he just said “don’t know” 😑😑

Sounds like the kids were homesick and weren’t used to being around their own father. It’s kinda sad. Have you thought of spending time with him and the kids so they can be comfortable and grow close to their father?

@resealableheart Ya he sounds like a immature person but you picked him. You have to try and make it work for your kids sake. I would try and have visits where you’re both there..
