I find it hard to interact on here and not sure why

I find I have to go to ridiculous efforts to see the content I want, I just want a stream that's in real time chronological order, you'd think with all the wanky options for your stream they could at least have included an algorithm free option, seeing friends and others posts hours or even days after they've been posted is of no use to me and is what is largely killing it for me.

I come here for interaction but having to hit up individual profiles in order to see the most recent content people have posted is shite.

Well, it doesn't feel like home.
But I'm on a lot of other social media and there's only one other site where I manage to stay logged in longer than a minute.

With SW, i find myself refreshing the home feed constantly, yet there's nothing new.
I click on Medium, Top, New, Images... and I hardly find any posts that I'd be interested in commenting on, let alone hearting.
Sometimes I don't even feel like logging in, because I can't see half of the new posts due to the algorithms.
So I just click on Posts without logging in and scroll through. If I see something that catches my attention, then I log in.

Currently the Recent Posts on my home feed are from 16m, 34m, 1h, 1h, 2h, 2h, 3h, 5h, 5h... and so on.
Logged out, I see Posts are 4m, 8m, 16m, 34m, 59m, 1h, 1h, 1h, 1h, 1h, 2h, 2h, 2h, 2h, 2h, 3h, 3h, 3h, 4h, 4h... (Bold indicates posts that aren't visible on my Home feed.)
That's like half the normal posts that are missing from my Recent Posts.
Keep in mind that when logged out, Mildly Adult and Adult posts are not displayed to the visitor. If those were shown, it'd probably be 75% or 80% of posts not being displayed on my Recent Posts when I log in.

I still enjoy coming here.

Another sad thing about this forum is that no matter who posts them, the threads that DO get a ton of responses are the ones where people express concerns about this forum. Things about cliques, being blocked, the latest "upgrade" or whatever wrong doing happened.
That or sensitive political or religious matters.

But on the other hand, what can really be done? Tell people to play nice? Bug the admins about stuff?

I feel the same, but I know that while the interaction has died down significantly due to the “improvements” that have been made to the site, it’s also partly due to me just not feeling the vibe here enough to interact much anymore. And the more I drift from here and turn my attention elsewhere gaining all kinds of feel good vibes, the less draw this place has for me. So, it’s cool what SW used to be for me. But sadly I don’t see it ever being up there on the rad charts again.

Too much of a headache..... honestly brings the worst out in me, and I just wanted to show pictures of a fish I caught and pictures of my dogs.

It's weird because regardless of a lot of things, it just seems like only a select few get much attention. Even some people on here who seem really cool or have been here a while don't get a lot of it.

It doesn't have too much to do with age, gender, location, looks, what they post about, etc. People claim "algorithm" but this has been going on since before the admins bequeefed certain changes on here. Although we notice it is the most controversial men and also the best looking women who are on the receiving end of the attention spectrum. But not all the arguers nor the lookers are in that group even.

Plus some people seem nice but then want to block others for apparently no reason so it feels like a waste trying to get to know people.

I been on a few forums in my time and must say this is the only one where it matters who is who. Most of them out there are based on the conversations at hand rather than who is posting.

So yeah there we have it.

The site is okay, but the community is at a low. That has always been changing constantly with people leaving and others joining, and it may pick up again, but I miss more and more people who left or have been considerably less active and I don't really click with any recent new members.

It does feel strained on here ..
The changes haven't really improved ...but it's free so...whatever

Why? Is it just interacting with new users? Or just others? I think the two of us interact pretty ok.

Its more limited than it used to be.
Like you only seem to interact with the same users all the time🤷‍♀️.
And new users are more ignored than ever, my feed is full of them and i cbf. Im not alone

I love it. I write about what I want to write about, how amazing God is, and I try to encourage the Christian community the best I can. The world is not doing good because they don't read the Bible, so why not try to encourage those who are sad or depressed? I have friends here I like to check in with too.

It’s less fun now as the site gets younger. People are generally friendly but a lot of my good friends have left the site, so my own interactions are pretty trivial.

I'm not on here as much as I was when I first joined. I joined for long lasting friendships but the majority of friends I meet just want it to be sexual. So I only come on here for about 5 minutes then leave. I enjoy my real life much more. Its very boring on here unless someone comes up with an interesting question.

SW sucks - Just like 90% of socìal media.

It's not about interaction, it's about distraction. Because drugs are expensive and thinking hurts.

I interact quite well on here. But I find women and girls are too cautious to men. Maybe they are right to be so

I'm okay with it. The feed is annoying but I still can find something interesting. One thing that really annoys me though is the abundance of vapid sexual posts probably satisfying needs of lesbians and heterosexual men, if you know what I mean. I really don't need to accidently read about cum dripping out of someone's fanny... 🤢🤮 Or a nobhead asking for five thousandth time on tenth account what does female orgasm feel like. I don't consider myself prude but it's been way too much of it lately and that's really not content I can appreciate.

I'm sort of the same - it's a crap shoot on what you'll see in the feed and that's frustrating. I do have some marked as favorites and that seems to help in seeing their posts, but whatever algorithm they use needs to give us a chronological feed and let us block or mute those we don't want to see.
