I am decidedly not someone who craves a large arc of friends, and those that I do have are generally centered around family, young and the not so young.
The center of me will always guide me to sling the truth within that circle, and I'd like to think that, whether or not what I might say will be understood to be measured, and that while they might not agree with me, there's a certain respect with the understanding that what I might say is genuine, and at times, unpopular.
I do have a hard time speaking the truth though.......I think most people wish to be respected amongst their peers.

Yes, it was worse when I was younger but now I deal with it better.
