What's your favorite planet (or object) in the Solar system?

My favorite planet is Saturn.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Titan!

Titan is the only known moon with an atmosphere, and the most Earth-like place we know of. It has rain, lakes, and oceans, and researchers have this month discovered ice features, deep lakes on top of mesas, and vicious winter storms. It could also contain the building blocks of life itself.

@DeWayfarer Very cool! The sun is my favorite, but Titan is second!
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@ChampagneOnIce I doubt we will find anything close to water on the sun! 🤣

Methane when burned yelds this chemical reaction:

CH 4 + 2 O 2 → CO 2 + 2 H 2 O.

Notice the 2 in front of the last compound! 🙃

@DeWayfarer Heavy!
The sun is my favorite object in the solar system.
It always makes my day! 😝

Saturn is the coolest planet
The moon. I enjoy photographing it.

Saturn is great when you catch it right, which I think is now or soon - I also like Jupiter and how you can see it's stripes and moons - I'm also partial to the Orion Nebula which is so vivid in the winter and the Seven Sisters (Pleiades)
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
Cross between Jupiter and a Pluto (Pluto, you weird little oddball)
ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
I love the Sun, Pluto, Mars, and Titan.
holds back making a Uranus joke.....

Venus. I prefer my planets lethal and smoking hot.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
I have seen both Saturn and Jupiter in telescope many times. It's a toss up but Saturn's rings are impressive for sure. But Jupiter has better features with bands of grey and white along its surface. And in a telescope you only see black and white
Nanoose · 61-69, M
Voyager 1 because it's way out there in interstellar space. And maybe one day (about 14.000 years from now} it will leave interstellar space and our solar system behind it and travel into the next solar system - and then beyond that. Cheers!

Oh they're all beautifully weird !
So many colours; oppressive atmospheres; lethal environments.

I suppose Saturn is the most visually distinctive but Jupiter is mind boggling
Canuckle · 51-55, M
Sun - it feeds life into me and when I can’t see it enough it is like missing my best friend. I appreciate feeling its warm rays. I can’t wait until it enters my eyesight in the horizon.
Jeephikelove · 51-55, F
Saturn is very cool!

I honestly like everything but our moon fascinates me.
WolfGirlwh0r3 · 36-40, T

@SW-User Wait that one's not in the solar system though.

Lol you’re right. It’s a stellar system on its own @XxJamberxX

Some of those pictures of the big ones are freaky. Like this big raging ball of wind just hanging out there in the pitch black complete silence.
pancakeslam · 41-45, M
Venus. I hear they speak Russian.

I like Saturn, but I find Jupiter the most fascinating, it's a swirling mass of liquids and gasses. Apparently, a spaceship wouldn't be able to land or even pass through it.
