Yes. I never had a lesson. The municipal swimming pool was one of my mother's babysitters during the summer when we traveled to visit her family. She would just drop me and my cousins at the pool and then leave. It was sink or swim...🤣🤣🤣
Breath control is the trick to swimming. If you suck in a big breath and hold it you won't sink, then just control how much air you let out as you paddle and kick your feet.
@Beccamom 🤔too my shame no we had swimming classes at my last year of junior school and my first year of senior school . i hated it could not get the hang of it and still cannot swim too this day still 😞
@treeovdeath just jump in there..... Paddle ur legs and borrow handful of water towards ur body ... Don't be rush and scared u gonna float automatically
Everyone who served in the Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard will learn to swim or be processed out. That's a mighty long bus ride home, clabber for brains.
Back in the day swimming safety lessons were mandatory a week before opening, usually memorial day, for all kids 12 and under that wanted to swim during the summer.
