For men. Is sex as enjoyable with middle age women?

Those guys have apparently been with the wrong women. The answer is yes!

Having sex with older men can be awful too. They need longer time in between before getting hard again if they even get hard and they are predictable which is why women say no. Not worth it for a 15 min inconvenience.

These are probably young men who have been turned down by older women. They have no concept of the difference between the sexual prime of a woman and their own Oedipus complex.

To be honest I prefer women closer to my own age. I am sure younger women are fine and all, but they don't get my pop culture references, being a generation away, and I do like a conversation with a woman.

I’ve always read that a lot of women in their 40’s & up still have high libidos. I fall into that category. And since I started dating last September, all the men I dated have been a lot younger than me. They like the experience & what older women bring to the table. Plus there’s less drama.

Some men are superficial; so are some women. They’re not the kind of people I want to be around.

In my experience, men (younger and older than me) prefer women in their 30s, 40s, 50s. We know what we like; we know how to orgasm; we understand sensuality, and we’re more confident than younger women, in general.

Not true at all for me, and for lots of men. Younger women might have tighter bodies (might) but that doesn't begin to make up for what an experienced woman knows. As you’re asking purely about physical enjoyment, I think whether or not a woman has had children is perhaps more relevant than her age. Also, what a woman does with her body, especially her hands and mouth, during sex, is probably at least as important to the pleasure of the male as the condition of her body (within reason, eg if she’s very much overweight this doesn’t apply).

speaking as a woman I must say our sex life is like a pot luck dinner. he never knows what's on the menu until we get there. he has never refused to eat it and he walks away happy and me full. I have had discussions about this type of things with friend before. Both men and women... about if sex is better with a 20 something or a 40 something. The 20 somethings usually have the better bods and have the least idea what to do with it. Both male and female 20 somethings believe that intercourse is better than foreplay. The 40 something women enjoy the foreplay and have more Os than during intercourse. Mature women are a lot more active and willing to guide her partner that the 20 something women are. They were all over the place about which age group was better in bed.

I can only speak for myself, but It think it's complete nonsense to suggest that women over 40 are somehow less desirable than younger women.

As far as I can tell, women only begin to reach their sexual prime in their early to mid 40s.

All of that is common sense except for the part about men not declining. Men do decline because everyone eventually declines but men usually start declining later than women. Why are you surprised that men prefer women in their prime? There can be exceptions but of course men prefer women in their prime and sexually enjoy them more than women who are past their prime. Why wouldn't they? I don't like marriage as a legal institution but women should try to get married or find their life partner and have kids if they want them when they're young and in their prime and are their most fertile.
