Let's just get it over and done with... The election was stolen, again!

@LordShadowfire It's not that simple. The proof is that enthusiasm for the candidate increased when Biden dropped out and Harris replaced him. People are definitely voting for the candidate and not the party, otherwise the polls wouldn't have changed.
It works that way for the Republicans. Imagine if in 2016, Trump hadn't run and Ted Cruz had been the nominee. Clinton would have crushed him. If Trump hadn't run this year, DeSantis would have been the nominee and Biden even in his current state would have demolished him.

I'm not disparaging Kamala in the slightest. I think she's a good person for the job. I'm just saying that the presidential election is basically the most popular puppet contest. Trump is a puppet for the Heritage Foundation, albeit a rather reluctant one, and Kamala is a puppet for interests that align more with my own.
Oh, and what exactly is Biden's current state, according to you? Because in his current state, Biden just negotiated the release of three American prisoners from the Russian Federation.

And yet the party considers them interchangeable, and will run whichever one can get the job, so that the party can continue doing what they are doing. I'm not disparaging Kamala in the slightest. @LordShadowfire I agree with you, the candidates are interchangeable. I'm not sure primaries are that important. I'm fine with the party leaders choosing the candidate they think can win. The only value of the primaries are to identify candidates' strengths and weaknesses. But the year-long process is ridiculous.
There's nothing wrong with Biden mentally. Where he's having trouble is expressing himself forcefully and coherently. If you listened to what he was saying at the debate, he was fine, he just came across as confused and frail. He's done a great job, but if he doesn't have the energy to get that across to voters in a convincing way, he can't win.
Trump definitely came across forcefully, the problem was that he was spewing a fire hose of lies in a convincing manner, and Biden didn't have the ability to call him out on it. Harris will be much better at that.

Then again we need to figure into the calculation all of his previous voters who are no longer walking among us on this mortal coil due to COVID spreading at his “rallies” or Ivermectin, injected bleach, etc. or his “advice” that COVID would simply disappear…
No wonder his “rallies” are so poorly attended. Don’t fall for his fake crowd pictures or his promise to pay his cult members to attend them…

@KunsanVeteran Well, that and the fact that he doesn't provide water or shade for his outdoor rallies in the hot sun, so people regularly ԁіе of heat stroke. It's such a regular occurrence now that even the news media have stopped paying attention to it.

The only sane people I ever met that voted for Trump only did so in 2016. The only people who stuck with him through his presidency are in the Cult.
BohemianBabe · M
@Theyitis Living in a red state would drive anyone insane.
I understand there are regional, social, and economic reasons for why people fall for fascist propaganda. Those same conditions need to break people's brains first in order for them to end up in a cult that worships a mentally challenged serial criminal with weirdo hair.

@BohemianBabe Mentally challenged, Putin approved! Only hires the best people (40 of his “Best People” out of 44 in 2016 no longer endorse him and consider him a threat to Democracy)
BohemianBabe · M
@KunsanVeteran That's why I think it's funny that Republicans are trying to attack Harris by saying when she was running for president, she had a high turnover rate. Trump also had a high turnover rate, most people who worked for him now hate him, and he almost got his last veep murdered.
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
Same here, I know GOP hardliners that are voting for Kamala Harris and would never vote for t45 again.
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
Trump is just planning on suing for votes again.
KunsanVeteran · M
@GlitterEater You mean calling Red Governors and State AG’s and making “perfect” phone calls to find him exact numbers of fraudulent votes?
No doubt about it!

…This week you can add David Marcus to the list of former Democrats who are backing Trump this time around 🤮

for humanity and democracy's sake, I hope you're right

@Snuffy1957 PUTIN * TRUMP 2024 for GITMO!
trollslayer · 46-50, M
Personally, no.
Theyitis · 36-40, M
Elon Musk is one. Check RealClearPolitics frequently, there’s usually a new former Democratic celebrity, politician, or commentator who’s decided to endorse Trump this time every week. It’s nauseating.
Since Biden dropped out, sure. But I'm sure there are plenty of closet Trump voters out there who'll pull the lever to say FU and we've still got 3 months to go.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I've seen a few people on Twitter who claim they voted for Biden last time and are voting for Trump this time, but you know you can't trust anything on Twitter.
