Antifa uses many of the same tactics as the Nazis used against the Jews. They censored the Jews, they damaged their
property, and prevented them from organizing, or promoting their beliefs.

What are the historical roots of antifa?
The roots of antifa trace back to the interwar period, specifically to resistance movements against the rise of fascism in Italy and Germany. Antifa was inspired by antifascist movements that emerged throughout Europe.

What tactics does antifa use?
Antifa uses tactics such as “deplatforming” fascists, doxing, property damage at protests, and disrupting right-wing events. Its members aim to prevent fascist opponents from organizing or promoting their beliefs.

@ViciDraco And antifa is a choice, a violent ideology that must be eradicated
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 The methods, particularly the illegal ones, need to be addressed. Antifa as an ideology, the suppression of facism, is as important as ever.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco If the illegal methods were to be eliminated there would be no antifa

I thought the democrats said antifa was just an idea?

Except that it's been around for about 100 years in Europe...as communists fighting the "far right socialists" 🙄
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
Lol conservatives call anyone they don't like antifa, particularly if those groups.. which I don't know those talked about, are involved with pro immigrant or gay rights or any ideals not garden variety white European colonialism with homoerotic white buff Jesus rather than the dark middle eastern version.

Far right wing extremism worldwide contributes to more domestic terrorism by far.

Key trends and statistics

Increased attacks: One report noted a 320% increase in far-right extremist attacks between 2014 and 2018 in North America, Western Europe, and Oceania.

Rising deaths: Fatalities from far-right terrorist attacks also increased significantly in the years leading up to 2019.

Growing threat perception: Member states have expressed concern that far-right extremism is the fastest-growing domestic security threat.

Increased activity: The Global Terrorism Index (GTI) 2019 noted that deaths attributed to far-right groups increased by 52% in 2018 compared to the previous year.

Recruitment: The rise is attributed to recruitment from right-wing populist supporters and conspiracy theorists, with the pandemic potentially energizing and exposing them to new audiences.

International scope: Far-right extremism is not limited to one country, with various countries reporting increased activity, such as Germany's Identitäre Bewegung (Identitarian Movement) and the Reichsbürger (Citizens of the Reich) ideology.

Long-term trends: Some sources have pointed to fluctuations, but recent data indicate a sustained and growing threat, although not uniform across all countries.

@SatanBurger What does Far-right mean? And who are these groups? Can you name them?

Why are there thousands of videos showing left wing violence, but hardly any Right-wing violence.

Also, who is doing the recruiting? I see a lot of unprovable accusations in your post, reaching back 10 years.

52% increase in far right attributed deaths means 3 people worldwide were killed instead of 2

During the course of making these accusations, did they identify how these entities were organizationally structured? Or were they just asserting relationships and organization around a vague ideological belief (that fascist is bad and needs to be stopped) and call it a day?

I'm trying to understand why you would trust Marco Rubio's designations without question.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@DogMan you have a lot of nerve, and act despicably by comparing anything to The Holocaust! What is Antifa anyway, there is no such organization!

Antifa Mission statement.

antifa, a broad and decentralized political movement comprising individuals and groups who believe that fascism continues to pose a unique threat to democratic and peaceful societies and must be combatted through extraordinary, radical, and, in some cases, violent and illegal means.
Carla · 61-69, F
No, you are told that antifa is an ideology.
You know...anti fascist.
Are you pro fascism?

And, while i have you, who are the leaders of antifa?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@DogMan Okay well whose the antifa leadership then and where are the headquarters?
DogMan · 61-69, M
@SatanBurger I imagine antifa are headquartered in Europe, where they originated 100 years ago.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@DogMan Wow you know the headquarters based on imagination only? Wild. Better send fascists to where you "think" they may be hiding
PatKirby · M
"We are told by Democrats that Antifa is a small grass roots group with no leaders and no money." Antifa is the militant arm of the DemonRat party.

The bright spot here is domestic members now have a place to go of their choosing in Germany, Italy and Greece when Trump ceremoniously blasts their biscuits out of this nation.

When you realise they’re the well funded brown shirts of the globalist..
it starts to make sense
