That's a green light to farm & hotel managers to hire the undocumented.

@DogMan My wife heals and takes care of people, within the law and without regard for their national/ethnic origins or financial means. Although she occasionally receives threats of violence from stressed patients or their relatives, she does not feel the need to disguise her identity because she is confident that all her actions are legal and other parts of the medical profession have her back covered should something go wrong.

The only time she wears a mask is to prevent the spread of infection. It would do little or nothing to prevent a person determined to track her car back home from work.

In terms of the tax money, one thing to keep in mind is the economic concept of wealth creation or "transforming resources." In any economy, wealth is created when resources (raw materials, labor, etc.) are transformed into something of greater value. For example, a baker creates wealth by turning wheat into bread creates because the bread is more valuable than the raw wheat. The farmer creates a greater profit margin, if labor costs are down harvesting the wheat. Illegal workers create increased wealth to the farmer because they are underpaid and the farmer doesn't pay payroll taxes or into Workers Comp.

Illegal labor is a net massive wealth creator.

I see distinctions between old school dems and the woke libs. The old school has largely abdicated leadership of the party. They are nearly mute in terms of their voice being heard. I see the Republicans in much the same way. Both are dominated by their fringe. I dont have an issue with immigration .. a 10-12 MM illegal inflow in a 4 year span is not an immigration system .. its an invasion. Our budget/debt are already out of control .. giving benefits to an additional glut of people from outside the country that our own people dont get if fucking lunacy. Dire situations tend to force dire responses .. here we are. I voted accordingly and stand by that vs what Harris would have done.
