Are Haitians in Ohio eating pets?

I saw a body cam video from a cop in Ohio, showing a Haitian BBQing a cat.

Apparently this is normal in Haiti. There are also videos of them with ducks
and geese they found in parks, that they consumed.

Should we allow this in the U.S.? after all, we brought them here.

FYI Google has censored this information, calling it a right wing conspiracy
by racists. You have to dig for the truth.

Oh, you mean like this? Funny... I didn't know Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was Haitian. I thought he was American. At least his grandparents, his father and mother, his brothers, sisters, cousins, and uncles are.

Meanwhile. the local police in Ohio say they never received any report of missing pets being eaten by the neighbours. I guess the local police, the local ASPCA, PETA, and the local Animal Control are also censoring the information. We better keep digging for the truth. Who can find Kennedy, Jr.'s birth certificate? Wow... he's Haitian. I never would have believed it.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@BizSuitStacy 0.0 evidence and the woman whose facebook post started this insanity has announced her posting was made-up and she regrets ever posting it in the first place. She explained her neighbour told her she THOUGHT the cat was a victim of an attack by another neighbour who is Haitian. In other words, it was all a rumour and the neigbour now admits she heard about the attack from someone else who was an acquaintence of a friend.

Find something more believable to peddle for your sick, twisted, and perverted amusement and to serve your saviour, you mirror-fearing maga-nut. What a mindless Marxist tool you are. SHAME.

Probably it would not surprise me just like the Somalian community in Minnesota has established no police zones

I'm sure he wasn't a high quality type like an engineer or doctor and tried to jump ahead of the line to the boat, heheh!😆
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
@PatKirby he did and he even was wearing cement sneakers too
There have been a number of items reported regarding this activity of eating domestic animals ( pets) and ducks and chicken by the migrants in Springfield Ohio.
Hopefully this is not true. But if it is, they should board buses (!the animal eaters) and head to Washington and/!or Delaware when Joe celebrates Thanksgiving and then Christmas with big fancy dinners. He brought them here( Haitians on “ temporary protection status”- when does it end?) so he can be the “ uniter” he said he is and unite with them at his dinner tables!
This sort of thing has happened before. Back in the late 1970s, Vietnamese refugees were resettled into areas of the US. Cats and dogs began disappearing from neighborhoods. The only difference is the media didn't try to cover up the story back then.

@BizSuitStacy I remember that. We had a couple in my town that got quite exaggerated
@SSDecontrol and now the evidence floodgates open. When are people going to learn that the media lies. Constantly.

@sunsporter1649 He's actually said he wants to leave abortion laws up to the states. You need to pay more attention to the news.

CANTON, Ohio — An Ohio woman is facing charges after police say she killed and ate a cat.

Our sister station WHIO in Dayton reports Alexis Ferrell, 27, of Canton, is accused of killing and eating a cat in front of several other people.

The news comes as some people on social media claimed a case of a Haitian immigrant eating peoples’ pets was caught on police body camera in Springfield, Ohio. As WHIO reports, the video was actually from Canton, which is more than two hours away from Springfield in Northeast Ohio.

Former President Donald Trump also brought up claims immigrants were eating pets in Springfield during Tuesday’s presidential debate.

Ferrell is not Haitian. She was born in Ohio and graduated from high school in Canton, according to public records and newspaper reports the Associated Press reviewed.

Florida has the highest number of Haitians in the United States, with 487,632 individuals, representing 2.15% of the state's population.

Thousands of Haitians have moved to the 58,000-person town of Springfield in the last few years, which Ohio's Republican governor says has burdened the local health care infrastructure. But the vast majority of Haitian migrants are in the U.S. legally and are authorized to work.

@fun4us2b i know about the Haitians...i could say a lot. i am from Ohio but live in Florida

That's the only video that surfaced, although quite a few people have come out and said they've seen it. As you said, what we consider pets here are eaten in other parts of the world so maybe we will have to get used to it. One part of the problem is that while I will reluctantly tolerate your right to eat your own pet, you can't steal my cat and eat her.

We bring in people in *supposedly* desperate situation and plop them here and put them in a desperate situation. It can't go well.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@joe438 Lets send them back so we do not have to suffer because of their presence in America
joe438 · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 If they're taking over small towns, than that may be the answer. Kamala once said the first thing is to find out what the root cause is, but the answer is certainly not to let them come in here unchecked and then fend for themselves and crowd out citizens.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@joe438 I hear there is plenty of room in Alaska for them where they won't bother anybody

Who cares if we brought them here. They have to follow our law. It should not be allowed.
DogMan · 61-69, M
This really is not unusual, Venezuela has almost no pets since Maduro took over
and ruined the economy. People were forced to eat what they could.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@DogMan
People were forced to eat what they could.

Forced? It depends on your cultural conditioning. We are not forced to eat chicken, cows, sheep, and pigs. It would be inhumane to eat a chicken or pig raised as a pet.
akindheart · 61-69, F
we didn't bring ALL of them here. I am from Ohio and i am telling you this much. someone eats my cat, they are dead in the water. i will go after them with everything i got.

on a side note, they eat guinea pigs i Peru and rats in Thailand. nothing surprises me
sree251 · 41-45, M
@PatKirby
On a side note my ex in San Francisco from the Philippines would crack the top of a duck egg and eat the baby duck still in it with hot sauce as a delicacy called balut. Sometimes alive. Asked me if I'd like to try. Nope!

Right. Meanwhile, people like you have no qualms cracking the top of human eggs and chuck the baby humans away as biological waste.

@sunsporter1649 I saw another discussion elsewhere with a link to that audio, and it was considered "proof that no one is eating cats, but eating geese is traditional". Taking them from the public park pond and parading them down the street is not though.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@joe438 I say we give them "40 acres and a mule" and send them to Alaska

Right. Almost no real meat on pets and most have no fat for flavor. Who would bother?
And yet no-one has managed to post a verified link.

Just like no-one has been able to tell me what state allows an abortion at 9 months

Or where an abortion has occurred after birth.
joe438 · 61-69, M
@InOtterWords Again, I'm not licensed as an attorney but it doesn't seem that MN law would prohibit that. The woman would have to find a doctor who would perform the procedure and yes, it would be a tragedy for everyone involved.

Again, I think you and I are on the same page here. We don't think anyone would do this.
SSDecontrol · 56-60, M
@InOtterWords still obsessed with protecting cannibals more than a month after story

Yeah you've got sensible priorities
@SSDecontrol nah i just want to see evidence when there are ridiculous claims.
Plus a cannibal is different to a carnivore

Oh yes, one incident( assuming the report you provide no evidence for is true) must mean all Haitians eat cats.

Also I like how you insinuate eating ducks and geese isn't normalized in the US.

@joe438 Pretty sure most places have laws that protect wild water fowl. You can't just kill them for food.
joe438 · 61-69, M
@SumKindaMunster Of course. The ones we eat are raised on farms for that purpose - like it or not - but the comments that suggest that hungry people need to eat so it's okay are really missing the point that we don't do that.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout they’re coming here to Canada in droves by boat and plane
@Jenny1234 Will they stay in Canada?
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@NoGamesTolerated don’t know. It’s easy for them to adjust because of the French here, especially in Quebec. I suppose some will go to USA, some may stay. Don’t really know
