The people who obey the law are always the first to go,My son registered the same week he turned 18. As for drafting illegal aliens.... We can't even get them to show up for their own court dates.
I don't think illegal aliens would have any loyalty toward this country. In fact, they might choose to sell our troops out in a crisis combat situation...refuse to obey orders or desert.
I had thought about this last year. Huge numbers of illegals, so why not make citizenship contingent on 4 years of military service? Unfortunately, my idea wouldn't work, for the reason I stated above.
I am shocked that the House has re-instituted the draft. I doubt VERY much that the motion will pass in the Senate, because our Senators are all globalist sell outs who WANT to see China win.
@4meAndyou The reason is fairly simple to me. Most leftists can't stand the thought of holding a gun or having someone telling them what to do then having to do it and conservatives don't want to be in a military that is left leaning and Woke.
@4meAndyou The weird part is that this bill is simply to automate something that is already required. 18 year old males are required to register with the selective service. It just seems really odd to me that they are trying to push through a bill at this particular time, under these global conditions to automate something that is already a legal requirement. So, the question is why?
Are 18 year olds not registering? Is this a form of political slight of hand to distract us? Or is there something more going on behind the scenes?
@Quetzalcoatlus Not 18-year-old women. Just men. There's been no feminist protests for "What do we want! Mandatory military service registration for women! When do we want it! Right now!" It's a male-only privilege. 17,000 male draftees killed in Vietnam, plus other guys who joined other services because the Army was about to snag them. That's the patriarchy we keep hearing about.
every time that i read about military service for illegal aliens, it is a disappointment. promises are broken and the soldiers do not get the green cards that they were promised.
@BizSuitStacy Yeah it still has to pass the Senate and that ain't gonna happen any time soon. There is no need for a large army. There is no threat to the US especially Russia is not a threat. It would rather have peace. War is bad for business in most countries.
@BizSuitStacy I say, round them up, militarily train them ( though no doubt many already are) and ship them to the countries that SO OPPRESSED them and let them begin insurgencies there and Re take their countries from their TYRANT leaders., Or ship them to Ukraine to fight.
@soar2newhighs pretty sure the US taxpayer already shelled out $$ for the single, military aged foreign men to cross the border illegally and wage war. And Ukraine is running out of soldiers. Seems like a win-win to me.

Pray for Trump to get back in to bring stability to the entire eastern hemisphere like we had in his first term. Here's the funny thing, that bill is worthless AS registration for the Selective Service is MANDATORY for ALL US males, to be completed in the one month leading up to our 18th birthday. NOW if the bill had been to include ALL US females with the same timeframe requirements, that would be newsworthy.
