Why double standards

The nuclear weapons of any nation are a threat to any nation in conflict with them, as are they meant to be. Many countries will see American nuclear weapons as a threat, but that's not to say that they can do anything about it. You could argue that the biggest nuclear threats right now are Russia and Israel as they're the ones making war. They might argue different.

The fact is that none of this is about moral right because no side can legitimately claim such a position. This is about power, influence and perceived existential threat. More powerful countries can invade weaker countries as long as they themselves are not likely to be invaded by an even more powerful country. Iran can be attacked, the US can't. Or it can but that would be a foolish endeavour.

Well, we're the "Good Guys" for starters. I wear my white cowboy hat everywhere so people can tell!

It doesn't matter about the lame justifications. This wasn't a preemptive strike, it was a preventative strike, which is a war crime. But, the West and her allies are allowed to commit war crimes, even if countries like Iran are bombed for perceived war crimes. We have laws we must adhere to because we created those laws in the first place. But, we can always find a reason to break them. Bombing Iran in the way Israel has is illegal, but just read the shills on here trying to justify more killing of children.

Because the people of the USA fear death.. The nuclear doctrine of Mutually assured destruction only works when the one holding nuclear weapons value their lives and the lives of their children and decendants..

Iran's official name is the ISLAMIC republic of Iran.. So within the religious teachings of islam is the belief in Martyrdom.. That is the belief if you die while fighting for islam ( called Jihad ) you are guaranteed entry into an eternal paradise..

So if Iran gets nuclear weapons it will not be dissuaded from using them to attack Israel or the USA or any other nation it considers to be an Infidel nation ( a nation that does not believe in muhammad and islam ) In the minds of islamic fundamentalists a retaliatory nuclear attack from Israel that would exterminate their entire population would succeed only in ensuring that millions of Iranians would be automatically granted entry into Paradise, because all Iranians would be killed while fighting unbelievers and thus be islamic martyrs..

Therefore i a devout muslims mind provoking a nuclear attack against their nation from an infidel nation will ensure their entire population entry into an eternal paradise, a very desirable outcome for a true muslim..

So you are acknowledging the Iranian's want to build a nuclear weapon?

That's not what they say. They claim this is for nuclear reactors, not bombs.

For one, nuclear weapons in the hands of people who think dying a martyr is a noble ambition and with a history of suicide bombing is a bit scary?

Never mind about the US nuclear bombs, what about Israel's?
