It doesn't matter about the lame justifications. This wasn't a preemptive strike, it was a preventative strike, which is a war crime. But, the West and her allies are allowed to commit war crimes, even if countries like Iran are bombed for perceived war crimes. We have laws we must adhere to because we created those laws in the first place. But, we can always find a reason to break them. Bombing Iran in the way Israel has is illegal, but just read the shills on here trying to justify more killing of children.

@Richard65 Like firing British Storm Shadow cruise missiles into Russia? Was that a war crime?

@SumKindaMunster no, because Ukraine fired them and Russia invaded Ukraine and attacked Ukrainian cities first, so it's a defensive action in the face of verifiable aggression. Personally, I didn't want Britain to be involved in that conflict, but, here we are. If UK forces fired at Russia, then, yes, that might be construed as a war crime. However, even America went to the UN to seek permission to attack Iraq, but Israel blithely breaks international law by launching preventative strikes on Iran on numerous occasions, killing children into the bargain. Either we have international law or we don't. Even you have to agree that we can't condemn other countries, then justify it when we or our allies transgress.

@SumKindaMunster it's good to chat without animosity. I'm not on here much lately. Hope you're well. Best wishes 👍

@Richard65 You realize this is semantics don't you?
because Ukraine fired them
They requested that the US and UK fire them and gave them the coordinates but the US and UK fired those weapons and sent them to Russia. That's what happened. They didn't come from Ukraine.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Richard65 Yes agreed. I have no personal animosity, we are just talking. It's ok to disagree.

@SumKindaMunster that's mistaken. The UK didn't fire any missiles at Russia, we supplied Ukraine who fired them. Britain has done everything NOT to be seen to attack Russia, that was the point. We didn't even fly fighter planes in the area as Ukraine begged us to because that would be a NATO force crossing the line to attack Russia.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Richard65 Ok, point acknowledged, the missiles were fired from Ukraine. However, NATO technicians were involved in the targeting and flying of those missiles and they could not be used without that involvement. In essence, NATO fired those missiles.
