TBH the problem many Americans have is that they still associate old names with new parties. The two big movements in American politics is the Uniparty and the non Uniparty. The Uniparty is a conglomeration of hacks has beens and other nasty sorts, Cheney, Bush etc all working to get Kamala elected. The non Uniparty is rallying behind Trump although many don't support him they will likely vote for him out desire to be rid of the Uniparty.
