Please name the 2024 Presidential candidates or potential candidates that are more qualified than Senator Tim Scott and please explain why?

TexChik · F
He is a good solid Christian, but why is he not screaming from the rafters about all the corruption going on right under his nose since he has been in office? He has not been a thorn in liberal's agenda. We don't need another wimp like GW Bush. We don't need another politician that can be bought. We need Trump. All the left's efforts to destroy Trump mean only one thing. They genuinely fear him. This is the most corrupt time in American history, and our Republic is in danger of dividing, if not collapsing. We need a hard ass, not a status quo guy.

The problem with that is Trump lost in 2020 and is even more likely to lose in 2024. @TexChik

@jackjjackson Trump was cheated in 2020, any man getting the most votes of any incumbent in history did not lose to a sundowning pervert that hid in a basement. The states that the big cheat was perpetrated in have taken measures to prevent it from ever happening again. If we don't get Trump we are in big trouble. No politician has the balls to take this on and would rather take the money. Trump already has money.

Well, to begin with among declared candidates, I would prefer the former governor of his state, Nikki Haley, who also has experience on the foreign affairs side as UN Ambassador. My only concern with her is that she seems to be more of a waffler than a true moderate, middle or the roader, still afraid of affronting Trump and the MAGA crowd. My preferences on the Republican side would be former Governors Baker, Hogue, and Weld, all of whom were highly successful and re-elected governors of Blue states. Baker already has declared he is not a candidate, preferring the challenges as head of the NCAA. Weld probably would have to go the third party route as he did in 2020. Hogue probably can't get the nomination in the primaries. On the Democratic side, Senator Amy Klobach who has an impressive track record of actually working across the aisle of bipartisan issues.

Send them to Governor Noem. @akindheart
akindheart · 61-69, F
@jackjjackson i like Kristi noem
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I do too. @akindheart
MasterLee · 56-60, M
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Would certainly be entertaining. @MasterLee
gol979 · 41-45, M
RFK Jnr.....running for democrat nomination. Statists on both sides likely to have a melt down. Amazing.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Them melting down is a very good thing 😂 @gol979
gol979 · 41-45, M
@jackjjackson too funny. All mainstream left and some on the right are going to lose their minds 😂
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
🤙🏼 @gol979
Don't know much about the guy. In your opinion, what has he done that makes him qualified?
@jackjjackson Not really, too early yet, I don't like Biden, nor do I like DeSantis and Trump would only further divide the country.
I would like to see someone in their 40s or 50s who is moderate, either Republican or Democrat, but someone who will work with both sides of the aisle.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I agree completely with all of that. How about throwing about some names? @independentone
@independentone Governors tend to be weak on foreign policy. Senators lack executive experience. There’s advantages and drawbacks with both.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Bobert. Wants less government.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Correct. An excellent candidate. Her history of shall we say nuttiness could be a huge stumbling block. @MrBrownstone
graphite · 61-69, M
I'd vote for Scott
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Best announced choice tot date from any party. @graphite
carpediem · 61-69, M
He is highly qualified.
acpguy · C
I told the wife earlier today that I liked the guy but the only problem is the radical side of the conservatives probably wouldn't vote for him even if he is the best pick. But we can hope I am wrong.
originnone · 61-69, M
John kasich
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Goodness gracious. That fellow is a lying fraud who tailors his talking points to his audience du jour. that next deeply held conviction would be his first. @originnone
originnone · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson Well,....there's always someone available to say something disparaging against any politician over the level of state senator.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
If “done well” = lost badly then sure 🤣😳😂 @akindheart
He’s definitely qualified, but he’s going to have to do better than what he’s polling now. I doubt he would even win the SC primary against Haley, let alone Trump.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
What are Tim's qualifications and is he accepting funds from George Soros?
graphite · 61-69, M
@nudistsueaz He's a US senator, a Republican. Doubtful he gets a dime from Soros.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@graphite good to know.
akindheart · 61-69, F
he will never make president. down here they want him as Vice President. I hope Trump runs with Kari Lakes
AndysAttic · 56-60, M
Me, because I will ensure beer is free.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Most convincing argument yet. @AndysAttic
AndysAttic · 56-60, M

Trump and Biden have it. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for that being a qualifier. @MarmeeMarch
Baremine · 70-79, C
@MarmeeMarch Carter and Biden correspond to dumb and dumber. Bush is questionable. Leaves only one true leader with the balls to be president. Donald j Trump 2024
