Does this mean that Russian bank cannot foreclose on Trump's loans now?

"That means we've cut off Russia's government from Western financing," Biden said. "It can no longer raise money from the West and cannot trade in its new debt on our markets or the European markets either."

Trump still dominating your daily thoughts?

@MarmeeMarch He鈥檚 about to ramp that into high gear. Wait until you see what is about to happen to the price of energy!

Was a serious question having nothing to do with collusion allegations/conspiracies. Russian bank SEB has been sanctioned from dealing with the U.S. and Western banking institutions. My understanding is that SEB is inter-related with the Russian STB financial institution that underwrote the huge multimillion Deutsche Bank loan to the Trump Organization which is coming due.

But if they really meant business they would simply freeze all Russian assets in the country. That would mean half of Trumps properties ... Since so much of his property is either under Russian finance or owned (in the case of Trump apartments as in Trump Tower) by Russian nationals.馃樂

You must be purple from the non stop Kool Aide guzzling.

And, genius, riddle me this, why did Putin wait for your beloved, dessicated old pervert to assume office before starting trouble?

FAIL

@independentone I'm sure your double wide blows away his high class luxury highrises.

You are a pathetic buffoon!馃槃
@Slade Your idea of high class is any house without a tarp for a wall I guess. I'm betting you live in one of those Southern shit-hole trailer park states.
Slade56-60, M
@independentone Wow! You're clever!

Didn't Deutsche bank have some involvement there too? Chances are they will call in his loan and he won't have anything but assets to liquify. No money will be coming from Russia. Maybe his app?
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@dancingtongue I have no idea.. But the Russian bank that Trump did borrow from has a major loan falling due mid year and have already announced their intent to come after the money in the courts. I have to assume the sanctions will effect this.馃樂
dancingtongue80-89, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Ah, that was the loan I was thinking of. So Trump could have good reason for being ecstatic over Putin's actions resulting in financial sanctions.
whowasthatmaskedman70-79, M
@dancingtongue Maybe... But.... There is nothing legally to stop a Russian bank selling Trumps paper to a Liberian bank or a Chinese bank for collection. When you consider how Trump fights paying his bills and the connection between Putin and his banks, there are plenty of moves in the board..馃樂
I doubt it since most of the people he probably owes money to are Bratva. They don't care about sanctions.
