Police in Ottawa, Canada begin to dismantle the #FluTrucksKlan

I think the key message here is that nobody else is "rising up" to join their protest. The rest of Canada has looked at the protest, seen enough, and said "time to move on."

It probably didn't help that the truckers let the folks with Confederate flags wave those symbols of hatred over their protest.

Wait until they find out that some of the trucks that were towed away will be sold at an auction. That protest cost Canada a lot of money so I think it is only fair that those trucks be sold and the money be given back to the business that lost millions of dollars. Cheers!

Freedumb gets better all the time, now one of the primary Youtubers in support of the protest (Irnieracingnews) is telling us that the Police had UN and NATO "Hired Goons" there assaulting citizens! Some of them were already violent, there's videos of those truckers getting mad at hotels, restaurants and other things. They accused them of being "in on the Govt conspiracy to hold them down" because of masks and stuff. Really off the wall stuff.

I think instead of arresting them, they need a giant makeshift mental health facility where they can get these people help but I'm glad they're off the streets either way.

The truckers are patriots, the RCMP are earning their gestapo badges.

Well, they've arrested the three heads of this movement because it's' no longer a protest.
This Chris Barber and Tamara Lich are using these truckers (most with criminal records) for their own agenda.

You'll see over the weekend the Ottawa Police tactical unit, the riot squad, and the rest of many police officers will shut this down before Monday.

Let's be honest, a guy throwing a bike at an RCMP horse isn't a normal or stable protester but most likely a POS criminal. The snipers should have taken him out.

Yup. For all their big talk, the protestors packed up and left when they actually had to start facing consequences.
When it stopped being a party and they realized that the police were actually going to start enforcing the law most of them lost their stomach for "freedom".

It just went way too far, at first, i was in agreement with the protest, as the truch workers just wanted to be able to do their job... but now its like everyone took this protect and claimed something different out of it... it became a scene of violence, protestors braking car windows. Hurting people, smashing things on their way... they have been warned, but they are resilient and now its gone way way too far.. i dont agree with any of it no more

In reality if the mandates are slowly being lifted, it's thanks to the silent majority who went and got vaccinated, not to the few dumbasses protesting about their "Freedumbs"!

I notice these truckers didnt try protesting in Quebec. The provincial police are not as patient or tolerant. (This American has family in Quebec.)

I think it won't be the end of it. Both sides have learned from it and will change their tactics to deal with the outcome if it happens. I am afraid it will be violent but I stand firm with the police. If it comes to keeping my country within the realms of law and order. I am 110% committed.
