Police in Ottawa, Canada begin to dismantle the #FluTrucksKlan

Police Services in Ottawa, Canada have begun to dismantle the #FluTrucksKlan with over 100 arrests being made up to late last night. No surprise that some of the protesters turned violent and attempted to disarm Police, one protester even threw a bicycle at a horse mounted Police Officer, 20+ trucks were also towed away. Did anyone doubt that this would eventually turn violent? Fox Noise talking heads will surely explode and they will soon be demanding the invasion of Canada to save "Freedumb"!

I think the key message here is that nobody else is "rising up" to join their protest. The rest of Canada has looked at the protest, seen enough, and said "time to move on."

It probably didn't help that the truckers let the folks with Confederate flags wave those symbols of hatred over their protest.

@ElwoodBlues All of the above, this long ago moved beyond being a protest and became a siege. I have many friends in Ottawa and they'd definitely had enough and were demanding that Police take action! Funny thing is, if you watch Fox for a bit, they are calling PM Trudeau a "dictator" and a "Communist" and demanding he resign...

@spjennifer This isn't definitely the first idiotic movement centered around COVID denial and won't be the last. Remember the 2020 German protest, the one that Kennedy Jr. took a flight to attend? Even those were painted as risolutive, and even those ended poorly.

@bijouxbroussard These lunatics unfortunately have been depicting themselves as being in the same boat of Nazi victims since 2020, I haven't yet heard of a single actual holocaust survivor who has taken their defence.

Paradoxically, sone of said survivors received death threats from these people just for saying publicly that the comparison is at the very best the fruit of ignorance.
