Careless Whisper was written before Wham was even thing. It was one of the songs on their demo tape. They must have been kids when they wrote that.

My understanding is that Andrew Ridgeley earns enough money to live off of the royalties of that one song alone.

No,he doesn't.The cold,hard truth about him is that his work with Wham!was mostly fluff;in his solo career,he had exactly one good-in fact excellent -record, Faith,and the rest of his stuff was mediocre at best.Though Freedom 90 was a good song.
