Power Pop

If I had to nail it on one, it would probably be nineties/noughties indie music.
Madchester, britpop, the whole scene.

But I love so much more than that.
From Elvis to ACDC, Supertramp to Madness, Sam Cooke to Fleetwood Mac, Redbone to Macklemore, Stormzy, Coldplay, The 1975, Nirvana, honestly my playlist is all over the place.

punk, rock, new wave, classic rock, pretty much everything but rap and country music

It depends on my mood.
I like all different types of music.

For some reason this summer has been nothing but 1970’s rock and roll for me

I don't have a favourite.

I do enjoy:

- the huge range of genres loosely described as "classical" (including Classical),

- rock, rhythmn-&-blues (the proper material, not synthetic pop labelled "R&B"),

- folk,

- film music (even I don't see the films),

- some jazz.

I don't enjoy synthetic, supermarket "pop" and "dance" styles, C&W, rap, the 1930s "crooning" style, Big Band music and a lot of the avant-garde offerings I hear sometimes.

Alt/Indie

Punk, metal, folk metal, heavy bass techno and whatever beastie boys are
