What's a movie you could watch over and over no matter how many times you've seen it?

lexiconic · 61-69, M
Groundhog Day 😏
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@lexiconic Laughs. Yes. I remember that one.
lexiconic · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte

LadyBronte · 56-60, F

@Fungirlmmm First movie that popped in my head when I read the question.

RuyLopez · 56-60, M
Blade Runner, the original.
PatKirby · M
@RuyLopez

Same here, this happy version segues much better into Blade Runner 2049. In that one they really should've expanded more on Rachel's role, they kept it too much of a mystery. Had to watch again to figure it out. But then again, I watch Dystopian movies again and again anyway, ha! Automata with Antonio Banderas is another dystopian flick I binge.

RuyLopez · 56-60, M
@PatKirby Haven’t seen that one. I will have to check it out. Thanks.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
@RuyLopez The original release also has the narration, which was omitted from the Director's Cut and Final Cut.

pirates of the carribian, trigun movie, iron man 1 and antman
popmol · 22-25, M
@LadyBronte trigun is an anime movie, with loads of good music and loveable characters, ironman is just a good action movie and ant man is funny! and yeah pirates of the caribbean is just great!
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@popmol I dont watch Anime. Never appealed to me. The other two could be a possibility sometime.
popmol · 22-25, M
@LadyBronte haha i get it, its not for everyone! but if you do its a lovely movie, its a space western, imagine all kinds of weird western characters on another planet :p

but the other 2 are just good :) although not sure how i should choose between ant man 1 or 2
Nights in Rodanthe. Watch it. Have tissues handy.
The Notebook. Such a touching love story with a twist.
Pitch Black. The space movie with Vin Diesel. Scary. The original. Not the sequels.
Dirty Dancing. Who doesn' t want romance? And cause Swayze was hot and could dance.
The Titanic. The original with Shelley Winters and a great cast of famous talented actors/ actresses. And the modern one with Winslet and Dicaprio. Music by Celine Dionne.
Tje horse series from the past. Black Beauty. All the sequels. By a male author. Story of the original horse. His son. His daughters. Recall like Son of blah blah. Then name of next. Etc. Read them as a child. For years I reread them My love of horses started there. Never ended. So sweet.
lexiconic · 61-69, M
@PoetryNEmotion
You like a mixture of Romance and intrigue "Pitch Black" or is it Vin Diesels Torso ? 🤔
@lexiconic I love romance and horror and, yes, I got this thing about him. Once I even had a dream that he was next to me on a leather couch with his arm around me. We were talking. And then...Fuck. I woke up. LOL. You are gonna die. I saw your sentence. I asked my son Have you seen Vin Diesel's Torso? He started laughing. I said, oh, he means the real torso. I thought it was a movie for about 5 seconds. You are killing me, lexiconic. Seriously. My fav genre is horror. Always has been. Thank you, hon.
@LadyBronte I hear you. The movie starts with the Black Stallion by Walter Farley. There are numerous books in the series. I read and I reread them so many times. Countless. The Black Stallion and Flame. Etc. You should read them. I think I will buy a collection of them. Read again as an adult woman. It is said the Black Stallion is the most famous fictional horse. Even more so than Black Beauty.
Isthisit · F
Saving private Ryan
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Isthisit Good movie but too sad for me.
lexiconic · 61-69, M
@Isthisit
How many times has he been saved ? 😏
PatKirby · M
@Isthisit
I recall when it first came out. Was buzzed and in the second row for the premier. The first twenty or so minutes are pretty rough.

ChampagneOnIce · 51-55, F
@PatKirby They were better than I, II, and III! 😄
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@ChampagneOnIce I like all those. But just the original Star Wars for me. :)
Slade · 56-60, M
The Warriors
LadyBronte · 56-60, F

LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Sidewinder Haha. Roger Rabbit. It's been a long time since I thought about that movie! Good movies though - although Dumb and Dumber..can't do that one. Too silly for me. Lol.

Indy74 · 46-50, F

mario712 · 51-55, M

LadyBronte · 56-60, F

Magenta · F
None. That would be mind numbingly boring. All the mystery gone.
Magenta · F
@LadyBronte Ah, I guess it could be a form of comfort for you. I get that.
My sister watches the same movies over as well. I always wondered how she could still find it so entertaining knowing how it all goes. But that's just how my brain is wired I guess. No judgement. 😊
Magenta · F
@LadyBronte I like new movies I've never seen. Plus I watch a lot of documentaries and "forensic files'.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Magenta I like new movies as well, when I have the time to sit and pay attention. I like older movies when I am busy and moving from room to room. There is no need to rewind or start over. There is a place for both for me.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M

MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
YankeeDoodleDandy, 1776, Sky High, Captain Zoom
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@MasterDvdC i don't believe I've seen those.
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@LadyBronte Yankee Doodle is a musical starring Jimmy Cagney as George M Cohan. Old movie. 1776 is a musical about the passing and signing of the declaration of independence. Sky High is about teenage superheroes in high school. And Captain Zoom stars Tim Allen as an old, thought to be washed up, superhero teaching a group of new, kid, superheroes. Last 2 kind of spoofs on superhero movies.
Slade · 56-60, M
Deliverance. But I think it should be rebooted into a musical!
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Slade Haha!
The Godfather II
@LadyBronte part 2 was the best of all
