Blade Runner, the original.

@RuyLopez I think I saw that once - years ago. I dont remember much about it honestly.

@LadyBronte It has so many elements that interest me. Film noir, dystopian, sci-fi, sensual love story sub-plot, Sean Young was ridiculously sultry, silent and strong male protagonist. My kind of movie…. 😉

@RuyLopez I will have to look it up again.

They filmed two separate endings. I have the version that shows Deckerd and Rachael flying away over the hills in their machine. Is it the director's cut version that omits this?
RuyLopez · 56-60, M
@PatKirby There are three different versions. The original release is the only one that has the happy ending I believe. The Directors Cut and the Final Cut don’t. The one that is supposed to be the definitive Ridley Scott vision is the Final Cut. But I like the happy ending. I’m a sap.

Same here, this happy version segues much better into Blade Runner 2049. In that one they really should've expanded more on Rachel's role, they kept it too much of a mystery. Had to watch again to figure it out. But then again, I watch Dystopian movies again and again anyway, ha! Automata with Antonio Banderas is another dystopian flick I binge.

@PatKirby Haven’t seen that one. I will have to check it out. Thanks.

@RuyLopez The original release also has the narration, which was omitted from the Director's Cut and Final Cut.
