Reaction videos annoy me WTF is up with “reaction videos”? I can understand some of them...

I totally agree. It's a form of parasitizing on someone else's content. I never click on those, I can watch the original and form my own opinion, why should I care about the opinion and face play of someone who I don't know and don't find interesting or important in any way? And even if it's someone I find interesting otherwise, why would I want to watch their facial reactions? Why would anyone? 😆 Is that supposed to serve as a manual for psychopaths or what? Like..when this happens, make your face look like this.

I personally think reaction videos are a good thing.

Especially when the reaction video is a "first time watching" reaction.

To see how someone else reacts to something that you yourself have already seen.

I started watching reaction videos after getting into a show called 'Goggle Box', which is a show of different groups of people watching the same TV shows and reacting to them.. (You already knew that)...
I like the first time reactions. Mostly people from other countries reacting to vids of my country Australia. TV, movies. Or to songs I used to listen to when I was a teen.

I think it is good for people who feel a little lonely and like talking about things they see online.. thats my take. But yes, they annoy me. My daughter watched some when she was younger..I am not sure if she does now.

They were all there was for awhile on YouTube years ago until they changed their monetizing and algorithms. Still around but kinda on the periferal thankfully
