Reaction videos annoy me

WTF is up with “reaction videos”? I can understand some of them being legit and providing decent content. For example when a professional “reacts” and adds feedback or criticism to an amateur doing something wrong but now I see all of these videos where someone simply green screens the original content creators video with their face superimposed over it making stupid expressions. I feel like this is theft honestly as they are just trying to get views by ripping off popular content and “reacting” to it.

Or am I just being a boomer and need to shut up and sit down?

I totally agree. It's a form of parasitizing on someone else's content. I never click on those, I can watch the original and form my own opinion, why should I care about the opinion and face play of someone who I don't know and don't find interesting or important in any way? And even if it's someone I find interesting otherwise, why would I want to watch their facial reactions? Why would anyone? 😆 Is that supposed to serve as a manual for psychopaths or what? Like..when this happens, make your face look like this.
