Binge Watching "Gunsmoke"...

@Thrust Somebody in this threat already mentioned that, and that Arness was really blonde, and had to dye his hair for Gunsmoke.

@helenS It was more of a prequel to the 1989 John Carpenter film. Titled THE THING, it came out in 2011.

@Thrust "The Invaders" was very much like American 1950's paranoia movies. Instead of having commies everywhere, you've got innocent-looking invaders from outer space, looking like humans (except they had a stiff pinky 😏) and undermining society and the government.
