This morning arrived like a quiet apology I didn’t know I needed.
Nine months without coffee, and today—first sip. ...felt less like indulgence and more like remembering who I was before I learned to live without certain comforts.
It wasn’t the caffeine.
It was the permission.
The warmth moving through me like something waking up that had been patient, not gone.
Funny how we return to things....
Not as who we were....but as someone who finally understands why we left them in the first place.
Anyway… if I start reorganizing my fancy sock drawer by emotional significance, mind your business.
