Not sure how I feel about the new Superman trailer 🤔

I'm pretty over superhero films nowadays with the oversaturation of them in the past decade and a half. But I would be lying if I said the upcoming Superman movie hasn't caught my attention. This Superman seems a little more angsty than previous ones we've seen, but since he's supposed to be a younger, more inexperienced Superman, I suppose it's not too out-of-character of him. I do love the casting choices so far. I also like how the tone seems like it's going to be a mix of dark and gritty with light-hearted campiness. However, I'm not sure how I feel about the inclusion of these various characters like Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Metamorpho, etc. That might be a bad sign that we're going to see the same problems with the DC Extended Universe in that a bunch of different things are going to be crammed into a single film. Either they'll make it work and rejuvenate DC comics in film or it'll be the final nail in the coffin for it. If it turns out to be good, though, I might just go see it.
