What was the best horror movie of all time

MoodysGoose · 51-55, M
for me, it has to be John Carpenters Halloween 🎃, the original, and only the first one . Something about the whole vibe of that movie, and while there are far scarier movies, none captures the spirit of Halloween quite like it .
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
@MoodysGoose the original one is often the best one. The original A Nightmare on Elm Street is by far the best one of the series. The modern version wasn't bad though.

@JohnnyNoir what is that?
@smileylovesgaming

Max Schreck in Nosferatu
JohnnyNoir · 56-60, M
@smileylovesgaming Nosferatu. German silent movie from 1922. Early version of Dracula. Still creepy after a century
Not a horror movie as such but the scariest scene for me was this (maybe because I was a little kid?) - -

So I’m an 80’s kid. My favorite is the Friday the 13th franchise
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
@Cantsayno kind of surprised they haven't made a new Jason movie in a long time
