Anyone like the lore of Transformers?

i dont really but i think there is a new animated transformers movie coming out. they look very friendly in it.

I'm surprised a toy can have lore in the first place.

Well, the design and use of transformers is actually understood.

There's likely an accessible article in the wikipedia, or some set of questionable sources on YT (electromagnetism always attracts nuts...).
