What classic movies should I watch?

Recently watched 'the birds'. (I'm from the area it was filmed btw) It's been a long time since I've watched a black an white. I kind of want to watch another but can't really come up with one.

The original Ma & Pa Kettle movies. Here is the very 1st one. I used to watch these when I was kid with my grandparents. They came our right after WW2.

Dr Strangelove is a great choice.....before its time...also try Citizen Kane
[i]Kiss Me Deadly[/i] is a terrific noir film that stands up to repeat watching.

I read The Good Earth when I was young, probably that’s why I really enjoyed the film(1937) by the same title.
