Oh no I was JUST saying to my sister wow the show is almost over and they haven't had anything happen to the dad..im glad they didn't. The most recent episode aired was Thursday night and nothing happened...(on Cbs).

@TrunkZ Yes. We knew that was coming, but it still was. And his father was so different from the impression given by Sheldon in the original show. Lance Barber played him in a very nuanced way.
